It comes with a NoFrost bottom freezer to ensure you will never have to defrost this freezer again. It also bears the VitaFresh Cooling System which creates an ideal storage condition for all your fresh food. This is done through adjustable humidity control and extra low temperatures which ensures your fresh fruit and vegetables stay fresh for longer.
The unit is also very energy efficient with an A++ Energy Efficiency Class which is the second highest energy efficiency class in South Africa. Another feature which stands it out from the rest is the low noise level of only 39db, which is compared to a fit between a whisper and a quiet library.
Finally the unit comes with a 3 year warranty which we think is great confidence in the product from the manufacturer.
Design:
The unit stands 1,86m high which makes most shelves accessible to the average person height, with the fridge section of the unit made up of 4 shelves, with 2 that are height adjustable. One of those shelves is quite restrictive in use in what you can store there being specifically designed for wine bottles but if you enjoy nice crisp wine this would certainly add to the appeal of this unit.
The fridge also comes with an air fresh filter called the FreshSense which as per Bosch’s website “constantly monitor and control the ambient, fridge and freezer temperature. A constant temperature inside the fridge, independent of the outer temperature, is the result.”
The freezer section has 3 transparent freezer draws and comes with Bosch’s No Frost which ensures you never have to defrost a freezer again. Most modern fridges now have a No Defrost function so this has become a standard feature rather than something that stands out.
Finally the stainless steel appearance of the fridge gives is a really nice look which will fit into most home kitchens and having the added benefit of the Anti FingerPrint surface you will not have to worry about cleaning your fridge every few days.

The storage space also seemed to surprise most people saying they were able to fit more into the fridge than expected. Most people also loved the big draws for fruit and vegetables although as one reviewer pointed out it does reduce the space for the door shelves.
The main negative review stemming from your reviews was the configuration of the fridge section with the shelving too close together which makes it difficult to keep large bottles of condiments and the wine rack taking up a whole shelf at the expense of shelving for groceries. Beautiful fridge if you are used to a very old brand. It holds a ton of fruit and veg which is amazing. Only problem I have so far is that the shelves are not really high enough to accommodate sauce bottles. And because of the large veggie compartments it reduces the door shelving (makes it shorter so can store sauce bottles. However to me it is worth it having the super large fruit and veggie area

We are very happy with our new fridge freezer. Both the fridge and freezer are very spacious. The wine rack in the fridge works well for drinks and smaller sauce bottles fit in under the rack. The space in the door is ample for milk and 2 liter bottles. The 3 drawers for fruit and veg offers a lot of space and keeps the produce at the perfect temperature. The freezer with 3 big drawers offers enough space for frozen meat, fish, chicken, fruit and veg for about a month for a family of 4.

A good size and pretty quiet. The fridge shelves and door shelves are removable, so you can configure it how you need it. After playing around, I ended up removing the top door shelf in order to accommodate my taller condiment bottles on the middle door shelf (I saw other reviewers complaining about lack of space for these, so this is a solution that works for me). The wine rack is a nice to have, but literally takes up an entire shelf in the fridge, limiting space. I removed mine, and now have plenty of room for my groceries. The fruit/veg drawer is huge, and the fish/meat drawers also hold a lot – I chose this model specifically for these drawers. The LED light in the fridge is great, and I really like the alarm that tells you if you leave the fridge door open. The freezer was a bit disappointing – not as roomy as expected. Only the middle freezer drawer is full size. The bottom drawer is half that size, and the top drawer is also not as big.
